Refund Policy.

Stones Audio sells perpetual software licenses. Because digital products are delivered instantly, all sales are final once access is granted. This page details the limited circumstances under which a refund may be considered.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of digital software, all purchases from stonesaudio.com are final once access to the product has been granted. Once a license key is issued or a download link is activated, the product cannot be returned.

Refunds are considered only in the two limited circumstances described in Section 04. All refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of Stones Audio and are final.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the product's system requirements and DAW compatibility, and you agree to this refund policy in full.

When a Sale Is Considered Final

Access is considered granted — and the sale is final — when any one of the following occurs:

  • A license key is delivered to your email address or revealed in your purchase confirmation.
  • A download link for the installer is clicked or initiated.
  • The product is activated or registered using your license key.

These events are logged automatically through our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) and constitute irrevocable delivery of the digital product.

Before You Request a Refund

Most issues can be resolved without a refund. Before contacting support to request one, please confirm the following:

  • System requirements — Both products require Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). ANVIL additionally requires an FL Studio-compatible host or runs standalone. Ensure your machine meets these requirements before purchasing.
  • DAW compatibility — ANVIL is distributed as VST3 and Standalone. FETCH is distributed as VST2, VST3, AAX, and CLAP. Verify your DAW supports the required format before purchasing.
  • Installation — Follow the installation guide at stonesaudio.com/docs. Ensure you are installing into a folder your DAW scans for plugins.
  • Contact support first — Email support@stonesaudio.com with your issue before requesting a refund. The majority of technical problems are installation-related and can be resolved quickly.

Eligible Refund Conditions

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date. Requests outside this window will not be considered.

Refunds are only considered in the following two situations:

  • Proven technical defect — the product has a verified bug or defect that prevents it from functioning as described, and the issue cannot be resolved by Stones Audio support within a reasonable timeframe. You must provide detailed evidence of the defect (see Section 07).
  • Confirmed duplicate purchase — you accidentally purchased the same product twice in separate transactions. Only the most recent order will be refunded. If the original purchase was made through a different platform, proof of that purchase is required.

Eligibility does not guarantee a refund. All decisions remain at the sole discretion of Stones Audio.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Stones Audio does not issue refunds in the following situations:

  • You no longer need the product, changed your mind, or purchased by mistake.
  • You found the product at a lower price elsewhere after purchasing.
  • Your computer does not meet the system requirements listed on the product page — these are published prior to purchase.
  • Your DAW does not support the plugin formats provided — compatibility information is clearly listed prior to purchase.
  • You lack the technical knowledge required to install or use the software.
  • The product is used in conjunction with cracked, pirated, or otherwise illegally obtained host software.
  • The purchase was made during a sale or promotional event, unless the product is proven defective and the issue is unrepairable.
Purchasing any digital product from stonesaudio.com confirms that you have verified system and DAW compatibility prior to completing the transaction. Incompatibility discovered after purchase does not qualify for a refund.

EU & UK Right of Withdrawal

Customers in the European Union and United Kingdom have a statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. However, this right does not apply to digital content once delivery has begun.

By completing a purchase on stonesaudio.com, you expressly request immediate delivery of the digital product and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires the moment any of the following occurs:

  • Your license key is delivered or revealed.
  • A download link for the software installer is clicked.
  • The product is activated using your license key.
You will be asked to confirm your consent to immediate delivery and the waiver of your withdrawal right at the point of checkout. Proceeding with the purchase constitutes your express agreement.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe your situation qualifies under Section 04, email support@stonesaudio.com within 14 days of your purchase with the subject line "Refund Request" and include all of the following:

  • Your order number and the email address used at checkout.
  • Your operating system version (e.g., Windows 11 Home 64-bit).
  • Your DAW name and version (e.g., FL Studio 21.2).
  • A detailed description of the technical issue, including steps to reproduce it.
  • Screenshots or screen recordings demonstrating the problem.

Incomplete requests will not be processed. We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

If a refund is approved, you agree to:

  • Immediately uninstall the software from all devices.
  • Destroy all copies of the installer and associated files.

Upon approval, your license will be revoked and blacklisted in our system. Any continued use of the software after a refund has been issued constitutes license infringement.
